GETTING STARTED
Starting therapy can feel like a big step. Our first meetings are a chance for us to get to know you, understand what’s bringing you in, and talk about what you hope will change.
We’ll review what you can expect from counseling, answer your questions, and work together to identify the areas you’d like to focus on.
Individual Therapy
Therapy at FourEight Transitions is centered on you.
Your sessions may focus on things like anxiety, depression, trauma, relationships, emotional regulation, life changes, stress, self-esteem, or patterns that feel hard to change.
There is no single approach that works for everyone. Your counselor will work with you to find an approach that fits your needs, your goals, and where you are in your life.
The goal is to create a space where you feel heard, supported, and able to work toward meaningful change.
FEES & INSURANCE
FourEight Transitions is committed to making fees and financial expectations clear before services begin.
STANDARD FEES
- Individual Therapy Session (50 minutes): $220
- Intake/Initial Assessment Session (30 minutes): $181
- Private-Pay/Cash-Pay Services: $150 per session
- Phone or Email Consultation (per 15 minutes): $0
The amount ultimately billed or collected may be different when required by an insurance contract, benefit determination, or applicable law.
INSURANCE
FourEight Transitions bills participating insurance plans for covered services when applicable. Your insurance company determines your benefits and the amount, if any, assigned to you as a copayment, coinsurance, or deductible.
Verification of benefits is an estimate and is not a guarantee of coverage or payment. After your insurance company processes a claim, FourEight Transitions will reconcile any estimated amount with the amount your plan determines you owe.
PRIVATE PAY
Clients who do not use insurance, do not have applicable coverage, or choose not to submit a claim may receive services at the established $150 private-pay rate. Payment is due at the time of service. A Good Faith Estimate will be provided when required by law.
OREGON HEALTH PLAN / MEDICAID
FourEight Transitions bills the appropriate Oregon Health Plan payer for covered services. OHP/Medicaid clients are not charged for covered services, copayments, coinsurance, deductibles, late fees, cancellation fees, no-show fees, or balances remaining after claim processing.
CANCELLATIONS AND MISSED APPOINTMENTS
Please provide at least 24 hours’ notice when canceling or rescheduling whenever reasonably possible.
For clients other than OHP/Medicaid clients, a $50 cancellation fee may be charged when less than 24 hours’ notice is provided, when permitted by law and the applicable payer contract.
For clients other than OHP/Medicaid clients, the applicable full session fee may be charged for a missed appointment without prior notice when permitted by law and payer contract.
Cancellation and no-show fees do not apply to OHP/Medicaid clients.
